Speaking only for myself, I think everyone should have an abortion, men included. I believe the federal government should launch a campaign (at taxpayer expense) promoting the pleasure and benefits to be derived from periodic abortions. Perhaps we should even have government run abortion centers where anyone can, on a drop-in basis, avail themselves of the services of a qualified abortion provider at no charge.

In general, I try to not pass judgments. Why? Because I believe morality is relative. Would I kill 100 to save 1,000? As a model? In a heartbeat, if I was convinced that was my only alternative. (For example: not withstanding any inability to live -- post -- with the horror.)
So, given that, how can I judge how anyone else believes? En masse, I can't.
But I believe Truth is an idiot.

seriously though, I agree with your post.
(although I am not sold on Truth as characterized, he is to new and unfamiliar with this site at present to "pass judgement")

Oh, it's a horrid model that I hope nobody has to face -- and I haven't -- I'm just saying that the call would be made, if my options were nil.
Further, I'd find it ethical to make such a call because, in this far-fetched schema, it is the lesser of two evils and, thus, becomes morally and ethically praiseworthy, if ugly.
Which is merely a single example of why I believe there is no absolute right or wrong. (Meaning, judging others is hypocritical.)

I hear what you're saying Sandy. Just trying to communicate expectations, as if I were the anointed guardian of manners on Political Chat. Some of these folks come around. I mean we got you whipped into shape, didn't we. Actually, most anyone can get around saying anything if they do it with a sense of humor. It's these damn lawyers who take themselves too seriously.
Regards,
D-Ray

I am more than willing to make judgements but my parenting days are behind me so someone else will have to change his diapers.
