I really like these 1968 427 rods. Pictures don't do them justice at all.

That's not a '68. The '68 was the same body as the '69 but without the matte silver trim inside the "gills". Your picture is of a '67 (if it has, as I believe, 4 gill openings. If it's only 3, then it's a '65 or '66).

Looking at that Lotus brought back memories of a buddy I had in the 80's who lived and breathed the Triumph GT6 & owned several.
They were fun little cars.

They only had 120HP as I recall but then they only weighed 1,200 pounds (1HP per 10 lbs.). (They were a fiberglass monocoque.) So, they were pretty quick. Their strength was handling, though. Unbelievable!

Mix Euro & GM and you get a beautiful little car called the Corvair Corsa. I've owned & built several when I thought money was only for building cars.

Rear engine air cooled flat 6 cylinder with an available turbo version, way back in the early to mid 60s.

I've been pissed off at Ralph Nader for years over that car!

I've driven one of those once. It felt like someone put sandbags in the trunk. (If it had a trunk, nod wink.)
