Not one of my favorites, actually, but a phenomenally well recorded album that really lets you know what kind of system you have.

Last night's selections:

Wailin Jennys Bright Morning Stars 2011
American Idiot Broadway Cast Soundtrack 2010
Green Day 39 Smooth 1990
Green Day Greatest Hits Vol. 1

I think Brothers In Arms suffers from overplay during the 1980s.

No argument there but it's one of the better "test records" I own. My reason for playing it yesterday was to evaluate a Pickering XV15/1200 with and without the "Dustamatic" brush. I had used the brush to good effect on a couple of Pioneer S-arms but on my Technics SL-1600 MK2, with a somewhat lighter arm, "without" wins.

Apologies to the non-vinylphiles out there for the esoterica.

My Vandie threes came with a set of bi-wire Bluejean cables. I'm still not sure that I can tell any difference between 14 guage zipcord and those very heavy cables.

Me too!

Hero's for the main source. I have a pair of 1.5 meter PBJ's that I cut in half and made two .75 meter cables. Worked out well. I'd like to get some of their speaker wires........
