By Seth McLaughlin - The Washington Times - Friday, April 10, 2015
Wayne LaPierre, executive vice president of the NRA, unloaded a series of political attacks Friday against former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, saying the former first lady doesn’t have the decency to be the nation’s first woman president.
Speaking at the National Rifle Association’s annual meeting in Nashville, Mr. LaPierre delivered a stinging critique of Mrs. Clinton, who is expected to announce on Sunday that she is running for the Democratic nomination for president.
“She will not bring a new dawn of promise and new opportunity,” Mr. LaPierre said. “Hillary Clinton will bring a permanent darkness of deceit and despair forced upon the American people to endure.”

They certainly are telegraphing their playbook, the same book as '07 (before Barack) and all the stale old made up controversies from the '90s. I hope they keep it up as it will turn most every independent voter and a fair amount of moderate Republicans against them.

Only if you've been fed a steady diet of hate and fear. 'Lil Wayne is only in it for himself and the gun manufacturers that he represents.
I really don't understand why any gun owner and sport shooter would support the NRA. They ceased being a hunting/sportsman organization in the '60s when they were taken over by the big money assholes.

The NRA has "moved on". They haven't been a sportsman's organization for years. They found a whole lot more money by representing the manufacturers and scaring the shit out of the 2nd Amendment types.

I remember when the NRA came to my high school in the 1970s to offer a "Gun Safety" course. Even though I didn't take it, I thought it was really cool of them to do that. I thought if guns are going to be legal in this country, then there should be a group that actively supports safe, responsible use of them. Now, I wish the NRA would shove a giant gun up it's bunghole and jerk the trigger. I liked what they were, but do not care much for what they have become.

I remember receiving an NRA bolt action rifle safety course thanks to the Boy Scouts.
Got a patch.
