Mostly, as long as Trump puts up a front and tells them all problems are the fault of enemies and traitors.
Most of the Big Bosses of the last century kept the loyalty of their followers and held onto power until death. This is true of Stalin, Franco, and Mao. It only had be to shown that Hitler had survived the 'Operation Valkyrie' assassination attempt, and that attempted coup was finished. Only Mussolini lost popularity and power, and that was when Italy's armed forces were reduced to total impotence in the face of imminent allied invasion, and the country was occupied from top to bottom by the troops of a foreign power (Germany).
I hope Trump will prove vulnerable if it is shown that he collaborated with a foreign enemy of the US, but I'm not counting on it. Like I said, I think the only thing that breaks the spell, short of his death, is if he gets overwhelmed by circumstances and admits defeat.
