If conservatives can keep us ignorant enough by cutting education funding for all but the very rich, and ignorant enough by abolishing science from government initiatives, they can keep the masses ignorant enough to rule over any way they wish.
10 buck say conservatives will soon start a campaign to convince the stupid of the country that the constitution is a hoax and we really have no protections. I used to think that conservatives had a point, take it a little slow and be cautious, take it easy with the spending, but that's no longer the conservative platform. Now conservative means "stick it to the common man, make laws to benefit the rich, rule with an iron fist, hate everyone not rich and white, and spend all you want, but spend it on things that benefit the rich, and change tax law so the lower classes pay for it all."

It occurs to me that republicans seem to view black, Mexican, LGBT, Muslims and poor people in the same light as Nazi Germans once viewed Jewish people. We must be vigilant that it goes no further. Last edited by MrPots; 05-23-2017 at 01:14 PM.

Thinking back to the big scandals conservatives hit Obama with while in office....

Big Pharma will never allow this to happen since the only reason they keep offices in this country is for access to NIH research and University research - and so they can lobby the government.
