Dude, that's my brother's neighborhood. The photo of the coyote was taken where we catch the subway when we visit. As far as I know, he has not been raising coyotes.
Regards,
D-Ray

I'm trying to remember the name of the viaduct that brings in water from a reservoir in Westchester. There's a kind of green space all along its route. The 'yotes followed that.

If there are deer in Central Park, I guarantee they'll be all over Manhattan soon. Bambis are EXTREMELY adaptable. The place I used to work was kinda "Out in the country", at night, it was not uncommon to hear the Coyotes baying & howling. Kinda creepy the 1st time or 2 you heard 'em, though.

They're all over the place around here. Yet you hardly ever see one, they almost never get hit by a car (hell of a lot smarter than Bambi in that regard), and the hunters have to go to great lengths to even get a shot at one.
I like 'em, myself.

seems like a 10 foot fence would have stopped them.

I lived up there back in the early 90's but never saw a coyote.

I love 'em. Them and foxes. Of course, I'm sort of a dog lover so it makes sense. Here in CA I see coyotes all the time but they're now in all the lower 48.

Nope! Believe me, if the Mississippi River didn't stop them a little fence wouldn't have even slowed them up.
