While it is true that I have a checkered past of voting for Republicans I did not vote for poppy.
In 1988 I wrote in Ronald Reagan for a third term.
In 1992 I voted for Perot.

I'm still proud of my Perot votes both in 1992 and 1996.
If I had it to do all over again I think I would change all my past presidential votes to third party candidates.
