I was curious about what people here were saying about this event. I see it as sort of similar to 9/1/1939. It will be interesting to see how much we get drawn in to this. The whining of the European nations and the US leaders remind me of the whining going on BEFORE 9/1/1939, so there is that difference.

I do expect China to follow suit in Taiwan, though they may do it differently.
