Very interesting piece. When the Russians came at us from the left, the unions ultimately broke capitalist. I wonder if the corporate generosity vis a vis the unions in the 50s and 60s was just due to the bargaining power the communists gave them, or if there was actually a sort of explicit payoff?

Anyway, are there now enough forces available to turn this threat from the right? Will the center hold?

^^Brilliant and there are T's on sale with that logo.
Sad truth is that a majority of the Trumpturds will not get the implication.

What implication? Hammer and Sickle? Communism?

The present leaders in Russia have nothing in common with those of the USSR.

These leaders want to ship out Russian wealth as quickly as possible.
They were looking to Trump as an agent.

Unfortunately for them congress has limited Trump.
Sanctions have forced the oligarchs to look inward. Less shopping spree in Paris, London, New York etc., less education abroad for family members, less stashing of funds abroad and boosting of the London financial system.

The Magnitsky Act has really f*^ked the Oligarchs.

They have to spend and invest more of their money in places like Kazan, Novosibirsk.

Funds outside of Russia face the possibility of freeze.
Russian educational institutions should now see a marked investment.

Its makes a bold statement regarding the political status of the GOP and will get people's attention. The GOP is kowtowing to Putin like Trump and question is why. There is more to it that fear of Twitter in the Dotard's hands. This logo serves as a constant reminder and besides I will look good in it.

How representative is the the red, white and blue flag adopted by the KGB led nation?

What is unchanged between the two regimes is the amoral authoritarianism, leading to aggression and subversion as tools of policy.

Trump repeatedly denied collusion. Now his lawyer Rudy Giuliani says: 'Collusion is not a crime'

So, now that they know Donny will be exposed as having prior knowledge re Jr’s Russian meeting, they’re switching their defense to this. Sigh. Lock them up!
