Used to be there was a norm that the loyal opposition supported the President in matters of foreign conflict. But the term 'loyal opposition' is literally obsolete.

One need to ponder this thought, Putin and Alaska....

He decides is was a bad deal, wants it back....uses nukes for extortion. Think it is an impossibility, far fetched. He is winning so far and may well have just enough support in this country.

OBTW nothing to do with oil and gas.....
