Are we at risk for an attack?
If you missed it, this was a really interesting story.

If some of you have a few minutes to watch it, we could have a very interesting discussion about it. There is a lot to chew on here and it may very well be the biggest crisis facing our country.

They have been hacking at systems for quite some time, we even have a group hacking the hackers. This is also one of the reasons why many people do not want the new so-called "smart meters" on their power entrance.

There are so many ways this country can be brought to it's knees overnight it's not funny.
While decidedly low tech, just imagine the damage 100 terrorists could do if they would blow bridges, transmission lines, pipe lines, and a few dams on one night.

Dams maybe since their primary aim is to take as many lives out as possible.

I think the story makes some good points about private ownership and public interest. They could fix it, but there's no profit in it.

Yeah, "I can help protect this country. But if you can't show me how I can get rich off of it, fuck you people." seems to be the great American way these days.
Seriously,
I think there will always be the potential for attack, in some form, no matter what we do.

Imagine, turnig off the electric in the winter in NY?
