IMHO, nothing but a photo op, and a ruse. The only way you could get me to go to something like this would be to drag me there in chains.

Of course it is. But who's trying to benefit from it?

Perhaps damage control is the operative term.

BTW, ain't we got bigger fish to fry? Damn media loves crapola like this...saves them from the difficult work of being a true journalist.

I would give my best Hi-Fi amp if Obama would invite me for a beer. It would be worth it just to tell him to kiss my white ass.

I don't think I'd go to the White House even if I were elected President.

Figger I could run things just as well out of an old shed here in Missouri, with none of the bullshit. Besides, I figger I'd get a pass for havin' some of my old buddies hangin' around makin' corn squezzin'.

What a bunch of BS. These idiots can't even get the problem correct.

"Obama will try to broker the peace between Crowley, whose supporters say he was unfairly maligned by the president's comments for doing his job, and Gates, whose backers say he was a victim of racial profiling."

Seems to me that problem was over and done before the President opened his rather large trap and immediately stuck his foot in there. That would leave the larger problem between Obama and the Cambridge officer.
