Spoiler Alert!

I've been binge watching season 3 of "The Vikings".

Got up thru the one where they tried to sack Paris.

They got their asses handed to them.

It as quite a shocker since for the whole series they've done nothing but kick ass.

It was watching the Rhonda Rousey Holly Hohm fight.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie being a die-hard rocker. Some original footage from groups like Talking Heads adds to the allure. Sound quality a given is awesome.

I just finished watching the first six seasons of Inspector George Gently, a BBC production, on Netflix. It is very well acted and the accents are fascinating. It is set in the sixties, so it is also interesting to see how it incorporates that political and social changes occurring at that time.

Regards,

D-Ray

Saw that a while ago. Good flick and much better than Rockwell's other sci-fi flick, the disastrous film version of The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy. Galaxy Quest was fun though.

I read the book a long time ago. I'll be anxious to see the series.

SyFy does a good job with production values (Gallactica was amazing) so I'm looking forward to this.

I read Childhood's End way back in the 70s...

Always did like Arthur C. Clarke...Rendezvous With Rama is great, and I really liked The Fountains of Paradise. I think I read Songs of Distant Earth also. I found reading 2001: A Space Odyssey much more enjoyable than the film.

Black Death: SEAN BEAN, EDDIE REDMAYNE

If your village is untouched then look for a visit from the fundamentalist knight in search of the necromancer...it is a time for burning witches.
