We need a new drug.
Here in Ohio we have run out of the old 1 part drug used in lethal injections, and the European company that makes it will no longer sell it to prisons.
So the state is going to a new 2 part combo. This particular scum used it to try to argue cruel and inhumane in an appeal that was denied. He repeatedly abused, then raped and killed his girlfriends' 3 year old daughter. I would find hanging to be gentle and humane. Pete

I would just spread a drop cloth around the accused parties chair. Judges says, "I sentence you to death.", executioner steps up, smashes the head with a sledge hammer and returns to his seat.

My idea along those lines would be a 12" pipe, 30' long, set-up vertical. Used to drop a 100 lb weight on perps head. Instantaneous, reliable, painless, no expensive consumables, no need for skilled personnel.
Hmmm, with ideas like this, i must not be immune to this death wish stuff myself. Well, I won't kill anyone today. One day at a time....
