I had the good fortune of knowing Jim Foley when we were in TFA Phoenix together, which has somehow made me a go to person for the Phoenix media whenever there is a beheading, kidnapping, or other development with ISIS. Not fun. I have no interest in talking to reporters, but my statement would be life is precious and the horror of the past few years has made that all the more clear to me. So I am going to go home, hug my daughter tightly, and tell her for the umpteenth time how much I love her. I think that is something all victims of these heinous tragedies can agree upon.

I watched the soccer game in the stadium in Paris, France vs. Germany. In the 17th minute I heard a huge explosion. It was the explosion of a suicide bomber close to the stadium.
