Most of the people here came from a forum called AudioKarma. As the name suggests, it is about audio of all sorts - vintage, high end, home theater, music, speakers, do it yourself audio, etc. The motto is "all audio, no attitude." Because politics can turn into mostly attitude, political discussions are strictly verboten on AK. It is a great community of people sharing knowledge. There are lots and lots of very smart people sharing information about audio repair, set up, product selection, and so on.

I believe that its AK roots is the reason this is one of the most civilized political boards you will find. That community relationship carries over to here. Even if you have never heard of AK, Brother K, we are happy to have you here. You make excellent contributions to the discussion.

Regards,

D-Ray

I wasn't griping about site maintenance, Dave. I was just having some fun commenting on the turds the spammer left behind. That one was particularly scummy, putting posts on each forum.

D-Ray
