When I was in the Navy, I dated a girl from Alamagordo. Her parents were both nuclear physicists. But, she was a totally clueless ditz. I asked her once why she joined the service. And I swear to God, her answer was, ""Cuz my Dad told me it was the only chance I had at any kind of future. The Navy would see that I had whatever I needed." What struck me was the tone. She seemed to have no problem at all with this. Like she didn't understand that her own Dad called her a dumbass. But, she was unbelieveably beautiful and awesome in the sack. So, I put up with it until we both got transferred away.
