This false belief is almost certainty a major factor in the idiots supporting the fake POTUS. Whiney, bitter, bigoted fools, believing narratives that are easily proven to be false.

For them, everything is a zero-sum game. If society is getting better for blacks and Hispanics, it must be getting worse for them.

For this group things have been getting worse for decades due to IT and globalization. Trump's going to deglobalize us.

Trump's immediate problem is that he has lost three Senators permanently and a fourth perennially on the fence.
Bob Corker, Jeff flake and John McCain will fight Trump tooth and nail going forward.
Susan Collins is always going to be unpredictable for the GOP.
Better yet, no one really respects McConnel anymore, so he is basically useless in corralling votes.

And next year reelection will be the only consideration meaning don't rock the boat.
