Way up on the Oregon border, the swells and their militias have been busy of late. The three member MAGA majority on the Shasta County Board of Stupidvisors gave Dominion voting systems the old heave ho without a plan other than a vague idea that the county of Shasta will hand count their votes from now on.

The folks in Sacramento got wind of this nonsense and put the kibosh on it with AB969, which the governor signed yesterday. https://legiscan.com/CA/text/AB969/id/2812723

Effective immediately, any election with over 5000 registered voters will be machine counted. No longer will any jurisdiction be allowed to shitcan their existing contracted voting system vendor without a replacement in hand.

So, well done MAGAnauts! Through your ill conceived and hasty firing of Dominion you've prevented any other California county/town/city from following your lead.
