To our west coast friends.

I read that California may get hit hard soon. Up to a foot of rain in parts of the state and in other parts of the state maybe blizzard. Possible mud slides do to heavy rain, etc. Yall hang in there and keep an eye on the weather.

Schools are closed in our area and we were told at work that if we didn't feel safe driving in to stay home.

Now my commute will be three times as long because nobody in California knows how to drive in the rain. You would have to actually come out here and drive on a rainy day to see what I mean.

Rains here 9 months out of the year and people still can't drive in it. It is pretty simple really. Change wiper blades annually. Keep good tires on the car. Make sure your lights all work. Don't use your phone. Unfortunately, that seems to be a small percentage of the folks around here.

It's been pouring here all day. Fortunately a lot of people stayed home so traffic was light. Even so had a couple of close calls with deep water puddles. I do have new tires and wiper blades on my car which does help.

Ain't that the truth!!
Get a little weather in California and people lose their common sense.

It's the wind that was so bad today. Lots of debris on the roads. Tree branches down and stuff like that.

Still waiting down here in Costa Mesa. It's supposed to hit after midnight and be over by 6 AM. Waterspouts and small tornadoes!
