I'm not so sure that the rules of those days apply to Trump, nor did any of the presidential nominees for those VP's stage a hostile takeover of the party on promises so out of tune with the party orthodoxy. We'll see. I'd give Kasich low odds. He'd be good for Trump, no doubt. But, I don't think it would be good for him or that he'd be willing to serve under Trump.

I doubt he'll be offered but he would take it in a second...

TRump needs a DC guy to help him with legislation and foreign policy.

anyone who believes Trump will or even has any interest in fulfilling most of his campaign promises is in a dreamlike state! Free walls and lower taxes with an expanded military, yeah right...
I think he may just want another feather in his cap...
