Ryan attempts to make himself the top republican

Ryan came off as an arrogant little prick who was obviously pissed Stop Trump did not work as he would have been the nominee, in his mind anyway.

I was OK with Ryan until this power grab. Now, zero respect.

Trump's reply was perfect. Absolutely perfect. "I am not ready to support Speaker Ryan's ..."

What a little bitch. All the younger politicians are. The ultimate "me's" in the me generation.

Then he hides his obvious intent behind "conservative values."

I am sick to death of the conservative values, born again, Teababbers. Go get yourselves another party and let the GOP be the GOP again.

I know everyone here hates TRump but he is closer to what the GOp had been than to the radical right.

The GOP seems to be doing about everything it can to make Hill president.

You know, this could be the best scenario of all.

OK Hill is old and stale and will bring us 4 more years of sameness but this infighting could well destroy the GOP. That would be worth it.

Yep, I am pretty happy with how things are playing out. Trump wins, GOP is transformed or collapses. Hill wins, the Donald gets pissed and the collapses the GOP for undermining him.

All good endings.

An unvarnished racist blowhard & neo-fascist demagogue? You may be right.

Trump is certainly closer to conservative talk radio personalities than Ryan is. Ryan is closer to where the GOP needs to be, at least in terms of temperament.

The fact that you're willing to overlook The Donald's racist, demagogic and neo-fascist rhetoric is on you.

I absolutely agree with you about Trump.

And I absolutely agree with you about that smug little Ann Randian prick Ryan.

Don't get discouraged by all the haters.

They've been brainwashed by the anti-Trump propaganda.

How is it propaganda when most of the evidence against Trump comes out of his own mouth?

It's all cherry picked by the media and blown out of proportion.

Trump is arguably much less racist that the Republican Party on average.

He just doesn't try to hide it with dog whistles and code words.

They've been racist to the bone every since they went all in for the southern strategy in the 70's.

As for Ryan, he's 10 times as bad as Trump in my book.

The little prick wants to take away my social security and medicare, which Trump has said he won't fuck with.

I'll bet that's the real reason Ryan says he won't support Trump. His puppet masters hate Trump because they want someone in office that will take away out social security and medicare money and give it to them.

The fact that Ryan doesn't like Trump, that's a huge plus for Trump IMO.

I hate that little fucker Ryan.

Talk about damning with faint praise.

You just cherry picked one line out of my post and jumped all over it and ignored everything else. Which is exactly what the media has been doing to Trump.

Thanks for that most excellent example which proves my point!

No, I didn't cherry-pick. I quoted your entire post to provide context. Cherry-picking occurs when something is taken out of context. One of the justifications for your support of Trump in the quoted passage was your suggestion that Trump was not as racist as most Republicans. That is not a satisfactory standard in my book. Ryan is not worthy of defense, so I did not respond to that. That Trump is not Ryan is again not a satisfactory standard to apply to a presidential candidate.

You conclusion is incorrect, and I don't need to post a picture to prove it.

Cherry picking is to selectively choose the most beneficial items from what is available.
