Dashcam video from the incident posted by Raw Story, above, shows officer Nathanial Robinson, 23, pull over Pete Vasquez, 76, at Adam's Auto Mart in Victoria, Texas, as "Under Ground Kings" by Drake blares from the cruiser's radio.

Vasquez gets out of the car, walks behind it and gestures toward the license plate and to the office of the dealer, where he works. He later told the Victoria Advocate newspaper that he was explaining that the dealer tags on the car make it exempt from inspection.

Victoria Police Chief Jeffrey "J.J." Craig confirmed to the paper that the car was exempt.

Don't worry I am sure Zeke will point out how an unarmed 76 year old man was being "non-compliant" and deserved to have his life put in danger by being tased, which is not safe for anyone at that age I am sure.

I watched the whole thing, all he had to do was follow instructions given by Officer Robinson.

But he didn't want to.

Vasquez, quote from video while being interviewed, "I'm not going to put up with that (questioning) no matter who he is."

Belligerence. Then he winds up getting tazed.

Questionable? Sure. Caused by Vasquez? Yes.

Tazers suck, I've been hit by 100V. Beats a bullet which can occur if you enter an officer's personal space with any sort of aggression.

All he had to do was wait in the car...

That's the beauty of it, if he had died from a heart attack after being taxed, the police could have said it was the old mans fault for being old......

I suspect though he was taZed because his name was Vasquez more than anything If his name had been "Olsen" he wound been gold.

Thin skull rule. Just because the victim is particularly vulnerable does not relieve you of full liability for the harm you do.

What kind of police state do you want to see? Are we all to never question a police officer but simply obediently do whatever they demand? That sort of society I want no part of.
