Not 3rd worst. Worst.

The only other Repugnant that I have come close to hating is the ex-Maricopa County sheriff Joe Arpaio. I consider Trump a Joke but an evil one

Is the bill really to fund Ukraine or to fund local armaments manufacturers?
I noticed France and Germany projecting the same arms manufacturing matrix.

Not the point I was making, but since you asked, it is to fund Ukraine against their war on Russia but a significant portion of the funding will be spent here in the US to manufacture armaments. Details escape me or too complicated to interest me.

What I resent is his representation of Russia as a peaceful country neglecting the fact that they invaded Ukraine unprovoked for the second time.

And then claiming Ukraine will lose to Russia; isn't Western/NATO aid to Ukraine is because Ukraine is unable to defend themselves?

And this is a guy so ignorant that eh thought the House and Senate were two separate branches of our government.

We give the money to armaments manufacturers. They make stuff. Then it goes to Ukraine. If the point was just graft for the manufacturers, you skip step three, and as far as that goes, we don't always even get step two.

So over time there is an incentive for manufacturers and those connected for an expansion and time extension of war.
I think General Milley and General Zaluzhny saw this coming.

Then the same can be said of Russia, right?

Mike Johnson Compares Himself to Moses at Christian Nationalist Gala

Quote:
Johnson then revealed that — in the lead up to the “tumult” of Kevin McCarthy losing his gavel and the chaotic GOP process of selecting new Speaker — he had been speaking directly to God. “Look, I’m a Southern Baptist, I don’t wanna get too spooky on you,” he said, provoking some laughter from the attendees. “But, you know, the Lord speaks to your heart.”

The message he received from God, Johnson said, was to prepare for a “Red Sea moment” — both for the Republican conference “and in the country at large.” Johnson said found the directive confusing but he continued to seek the counsel of God.

“The Lord began to wake me up, through this three-week process, in the middle of night to speak to me,” Johnson insisted. “Now at the time,” he continued, “I assumed the Lord is going to choose a new Moses.” But because of his own lesser rank among the GOP’s leadership, Johnson said, he believed the heavenly message to be: “You’re gonna allow me to be Aaron to Moses,” citing the role of the Old Testament prophet’s brother and biblical sidekick.
God, please save us from your followers.

Now you guys know why I call him Jesus Johnson.

When politicians start claiming themselves to be the arm of God, watch out. This guy is dangerous. Convince me he doesn't see himself as president someday.

And listen to this guy who is the chief justice of Alabummer while ruling on protecting embryos.

Quote:
“Human life cannot be wrongfully destroyed without incurring the wrath of a holy God,” he wrote in a concurring opinion that invoked the Book of Genesis and the prophet Jeremiah and quoted at length from the writings of 16th- and 17th-century theologians.

“Even before birth,” he added, “all human beings have the image of God, and their lives cannot be destroyed without effacing his glory.”
Whose god and whose glory?
