Charity for the holidays. Please help if you can

Its that time of year ago over on our sister site Audiokarma. We are proud that this is our 4th year. I know this is a political site and its our nature to debate such things, but I ask to please refrain from doing so in this thread. All we are asking is that if you can help to please do so. Thanks for your consideration.

Here is my better half's post from AK explaining it a little better.

Families for the Holidays 2011 has begun !
On Christmas Day, many of us are opening presents, enjoying a wonderful home cooked meal and rejoicing in the spirit of the season with loved ones. Sadly, there are families that have never known a truly joyful holiday. These families are unable to celebrate the holiday season, and need our compassion. For the past few years Audiokarma has worked with Volunteers of America Adopt A Family program to help some of these families. Audiokarma "adopts" families through Volunteer of America, providing the family with toys, warm clothes and enough food to prepare a Christmas dinner.

With the holidays fast approaching we are asking for your support as Audiokarma again will support VOA, as well as local food banks.

We're asking only for whatever help you can afford to give.

"If you haven't got a penny, then a ha'penny will do.
If you haven't got a ha'penny, then God bless you."

One of the things that many members like to do is sell or auction off items for the families, and we have created this forum specifically for those auctions.

There is no charge to list your items for sale in this forum or for auctions to benefit this charity. All we ask is that the funds generated in this forum go to the AK Adopting Families for the Holidays charity through Volunteers of America. You can make payments a couple of ways.

1) paypal: click the pay button on the top right corner of the page.
please include “Families” or "VOA" when making your donation

2) Visa/Mastercard: you must send me a PM for further information.

3) snail mail:
Audiokarma LLC
29488 Woodward ave.
Suite 160
Royal Oak Michigan 48073

Thank you for all your past generosity, and your continued support. We wish everyone a safe and Happy Holiday Season.

Nancy
Ms Grumpy

If you have any questions please feel free to PM me.

You ought to see the list of the spammers who never had a chance to post before they were toast.

Can't even take time out to watch a cheesy movie without spammers messing on the floor. (Peter O'Toole, Robin Williams, Jimmy Cliff - "Club Paradise" - looked entertaining, but was really stupid.)

Regards,

D-Ray
