In England it seems there's rules. For instance, all beds must have damp lumpy mattressess, high up, with a hump in the middle so you roll off, splitting your cold head.

Rough?

Bavaria is the home of Martin Luther and the Amish. It has more cowbells and churchbells than a Walt Disney set. Imagine The Sound of Music, but for real.

Rough, it ain't. Rustic, yes.

Must have the wrong district in mind. Not slamming it btw, but a a German told me once. I think the actual word he used was 'coarse'.

Coarse probably meaing unrefined when viewed by city dwellers in the north. Bavaria is in the south with the Alps and the northerners frown on them as hillbillies that tawk funny.

All of Europe is gorgeous. I love the history. The little village where my family lives is documented all the way back to the Bronze Age (1300 BC) and later the Celtics (600 BC). That blows my mind.

Most of the buildings in the village center were constructed about 1890 after a big fire. They are still in use and the village grows outward maybe two or three houses a year max.

And then people wonder how Germans get so many vacation days. It's amazing how much recreation time there is when you only work to get what you need instead of working to hassle each other out of a buck with some new innovation scam. If we stopped hassling each other we could have just as much free time. But we can't stop hassling each other. For us it is a cultural institution and it creates a lot of pollution and waste.

Take that foolish idea up with the owner of the site, (Ms. Grumpy). Silly man! Better yet, float it by NegotiableTerms, first!

That's beautiful eb.

This is the little town I'm familiar with in the Mother County, best pic I could find:

They also hung a monkey.
