There is absolutely nothing that gun is used for other than to assault someone with it.

It's not accurate for sport target shooting, It's not accurate for hunting game.

.38 snubbie is pretty much a personal protection/ concealed carry/ house gun. Also known as a "belly gun", it's not belly accurate for any distance but otherwise belly effective closer-in, the 5-shot so-called "Detective Special" is a particularly popular compact and useful variant. My pard inherited his mom's .38 purse gun, AFAIK she never shot a purse with it.

Thats why I said the above.

I used to have the .38 snub nose hammerless model but never really liked buying any 38 hand guns. Always bought 357mags or bigger. At least with the 357 you could still shoot 38s if you were trying to save money or a woos.

I would load my 44 & 357 mags to through flames out the barrels. At indoor ranges people would start packing up when I started shooting lol. They would have some crapy wadcutters or some store bought junk.
