I feel like Winton Smith, tied to the stretch table, with you telling me "The GOP is not influenced by the Tea Party, is it?", after reading that post. Holy shit.

Another "emotion" post?
If you think that the Tea Party and the core of the Republican party are holding hands and singing Kumbayah, then you're kidding yourself. Hell, the Tea Party was born our of frustration with the Republican establishment.

Just watch Rove discuss the Tea Party some time...he hates their guts.
I'm also curious as to what "Smiling Mitt" has to say behind closed doors. Bet it ain't good.

You've went off the deep end.
Look out for the Tea Party black helicopters.

Who, pray tell, is the head of the Tea Party caucus in Congress? Bachmann, a GOP candidate for President. The GOP is trying to have it both ways with the TP. They give them a seat at the table, buy their dinner, give 'em a feel under the table and deny that they're even dating.

Give it 5 more years, and no one is going to remember what the Tea Party was about, because it won't be mentioned much any more. The Repubs are still trying to bury it like their intension was from day one of taking it over.
