Climate Scientists have some splaining to do, maybe.

You sure didn't hear much about this on the evening news.

I posted three articles (vastly different sources) so you guys won't go all "Where did you hear that, Fox News?" on me.This probably won't phase the true believers, but it sure is curious.

OK, what's the endgame here?

What is the reason climate scientists are misleading the world?

This ought to be good.

The only comment I have is what I said to my wife last night. We were watching a Science channel program where there was talk of colonizing other planets. I looked at her and said "God forbid, heven't we already made a bloody mess of this one." If it was done by a hacker (one of the lower life forms) I doubt not that he selected only what suited his bias.

Three articles, one story and a story being floated by people who broke the law. I haven't read the articles yet but I will.

It strikes me, however, that a "movement" which has used junk science bought and paid for by oil and coal companies, bogus "grass roots" organizations wholly funded by industry, fraudulent campaigns ostensibly on behalf of legitimate organizations like the NAACP or veteran's groups and now out and out theft deserves no credence whatsoever.

[EDIT] Well, I've read them. I've got nothing to add.

I haven't watched any news for about a week, but I've been following this on the internet.

Besides, Al Gore came out awhile back and admitted that cap and trade wasn't about global warming, but about controlling the behavior of the population.

And it's definitely another tax and a money making operation. Just what the economy doesn't need at this time.

I find it interesting that we are getting lessons in scientific ethics from people who are relying on excerpts from stolen correspondence. It's kind of like getting advice on tolerating dissent from Dick Cheny, or advice from Sarah Palin on loyalty to those who gave her the biggest boost of her political career. (it seems like McCain is regaining his integrity shred by shred since the end of the campaign, as he continues to defend that ungrateful ....)

Thieves exposing frauds?

I'm backing the thieves on this one, they're not trying to force me to alter my behavior and steal my money like the frauds are.

Chas

PS: Speaking of thieves and frauds, Chase called as I was tying this and informed me that someone has illegally accessed my business card. This is the 2nd time this has happened, only years apart and on different banks.
