Indeed I do. Rob worked his magic on the beast after it had gotten a bit long in the tooth. Replacing the big oval PS caps got a bit hairy, but Rob utilized the brute force approach with excellent results.

It's a thing of beauty IMHO (if you like big knobs). It's bigger and more powerful than I need, but my son wouldn't stand for my idea of selling it and replacing it with a modern integrated amp.

As far as I ever made it up the Sansui food chain was a 890 DB, unless you include my 1000A.

I've always had a fondness for Sansui...other than their speakers.

I had a G-9K for awhile, big heavy beast. Through out my back moving it around. A good friend spied it then wanted it real bad, so it moved on.

But do have a G-8K that one of my sons said had better never get sold! More power then I will ever use. One of the best tuners on the planet IMO!
