Just a little reminder

Of how the economy was doing at the beginning of the Disastrous Presidency of Bush 2.

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/bush-sur...ifies-tax-cut/

Quote:
President Bush said Saturday that the most important number in the budget he sends to Congress next week is the $5.6 trillion surplus it projects over the next 10 years.

That huge projected surplus provides the underpinning of all the administration's tax-cut and spending plans, Mr. Bush said in his recorded weekly radio address.

"A surplus in tax revenue, after all, means that taxpayers have been overcharged," the president said. "And usually when you've been overcharged, you expect to get something back."
And at the end of his Presidency:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global...September_2008

Quote:
The U.S. bailout plan, now named the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008 and expanded to 110 pages was slated for consideration in the House of Representatives on Monday, September 29 as HR 3997 and in the Senate later in the week.[60][61] The plan failed after the vote being held open for 40 minutes in the House of Representatives, 205 for the plan, 228 against.[62][63] Meanwhile, the Federal Reserve announced it will inject $630 billion into the global financial system to increase the liquidity of dollars worldwide as US stock markets suffered steep declines, the Dow losing 300 points in a matter of minutes, ending down 777.68, the Nasdaq losing 199.61, falling below the 2000 point mark, and the S.&P. 500 off 8.77% for the day.[64][65] By the end of the day, the Dow suffered the largest drop in the history of the index.[66] The S&P 500 Banking Index fell 14% on September 29 with drops in the stock value of a number of US banks generally considered sound, including Bank of New York Mellon, State Street and Northern Trust; three Ohio banks, National City, Fifth Third, and KeyBank were down dramatically.[67][68]
Now ask yourself, Do we really want another Republican President?

If the Democrats continue to blindly support Hillary and the GOP is smart enough to run a Kasich/Rubio ticket, you may well get yourself a Republican President.

I like Kasich, but the Rightys are painting him as a Lib when they should understand he's practical, honest, & is very good @ getting stuff done.

What's funny is that Kasich is a dyed in the wool hard righty. He just hides it better than most.

If that is indeed true, the Dems should quickly develop a viable fallback candidate if Hillary's campaign implodes.

To late, the ballot cards have already been printed.

His ability to get things done gets him in trouble with Republicans because he actually has a record to twist.
The other candidates just complain about Democrats picking on them.

If so, the Dem's world may come crashing down on them due to their coronation of a flawed candidate.
