Good to see one of Donny’s closest “advisers” being treated like the common criminal scum that he is. Hope to see many more, up to and including Donny, in handcuffs and leg irons. Good show, FBI!

CNN — The final expected trial of special counsel John Durham’s probe took an unexpected turn Wednesday, with Durham grilling and rebuking his own witness after the witness seemed to bolster the defense of Igor Danchenko, a key Steele dossier source.

And now the second case that Durham brought entirely on his own is blowing up too (his first and only successful trial was handed to him on a silver platter by the DOJ-IG and resulted in probation). What a feckin' joke.

And just now -

NBC News - A judge has DISMISSED 1 of 5 counts against Igor Danchenko for lying to the FBI re: if he "talked" to Charles Dolan, arguing Special Counsel Durham failed to offer sufficient evidence at trial: "Criminal liability cannot be imposed based on the literal definition of 'talk.'"

And it's the GOP asserting that Biden's DOJ is abusive in its prosecutions. Barr and Durham should be disbarred for this kind of abuse.

Sounds like Durham's about as competent as Donny's lawyers, lol. What a huge waste of taxpayer money, typical of Repube witch hunts.

And now Durham loses again.

A jury on Tuesday found Igor Danchenko — a private researcher who was a primary source for a 2016 dossier of allegations about former president Donald Trump’s ties to Russia — not guilty of lying to the FBI about where he got his information.

The verdict in federal court in Alexandria, Va., is another blow for special counsel John Durham, who has now lost both cases that have gone to trial as part of his nearly 3½-year investigation.

What a feckin' joke. Bill Barr should be disbarred for prosecuting these people without any chance of conviction as an exercise to perpetuate Trump's perpetual sense of victimhood.

Of note is that the one conviction Durham got (Kevin Clinesmith) for tweaking an email on a FISA application (which resulted in probation) was based upon an investigation by the DOE-IG (and not Durham himself), the very same IG who said that Crossfire Hurricane was properly predicated (which was what Durham was trying to call into question with his two other prosecutions).

Danchenko was acquitted on all 4 counts (after the judge shitcanned one count) after 7 hours of deliberation. The Danchenko team didn't even feel it necessary to offer a defense (they called no witnesses after Durham presented his). And Durham argued this case himself.

The Mueller investigation had seven guilty pleas/convictions. The Durham investigation had zero. Remind me which one is the “witch hunt”? And Trump promised that Durham would reveal "the crime of the century."

Perfect drones they are.

Take the hook to the gills never disbelieving, rather ignoring the results.

Remember the Insane Clown? Too bad he's no longer posting - would be fun to get his reaction, lol.

And the recently released notes expose where Barr and Durham are headed - Obama and Biden being charged with something akin to treason. If you read the transcript it's pretty obvious. That thing is a genuine smoking gun, which is something we rarely see.
ROFLMAO. What a loon. Whell's response to this should be hilarious, too.

Between his coming here to throw bomb and his slavish support of a mendacious gifting media clown as a dumfoundngly toxic incompetent potus pretty much disqualifies anything he had to say on any subject, outside of the "stopped clock" factor.
I have no idea what happened to him in the PNW to turn him into a totally irrational wingnut reactionary, but it's a sad squandering of intelligence that has happened to many others

John Durham’s latest, and presumably final, humiliation is the capstone of his failed attempt to prove a conspiracy theory that has long been accepted as settled fact in the conservative universe...

I have little doubt that most Republicans actually do believe the conspiracy theory. They reside within an information bubble that excludes all evidence of Trump’s culpability and recirculates endless insinuations of a deep-state witch hunt. They have already pivoted to arguing that the only problem for Durham is that juries and reporters are biased and that the real truth is out there.

They will keep going and going because their culture treats frank internal examination on any subject as heresy. But to the outside world, Durham’s total failure is conclusive. It is why I argued all along that his appointment was a good thing: It would prove the Republican Party’s conspiracy theory was a fever dream. And so it has.

Here's a very good take on Durham's sham.
