Didn't you see the invisible smiley? My "pearls before swine" reference spoke to what I believe to be his high opinion of his own writing and our inability to comprehend or appreciate it. It is an opinion I do not share.

I agree with you about this thread too, Rob. I found it to be verging on the offensive. If you recall, I asked him when we could expect to see The Cynic. A request for The Misanthrope wasn't far behind.

As to the rest of his posts, I'm happy to give him the benefit of the doubt regarding authorship but I found that his cut-and-paste journey through his previous writing on other fora a little off-putting and a little lazy.

I feel a bit badly writing this when our not so pukka sahib isn't around to respond but, who knows? Maybe he will.
