Obama is a lot like Jackie Robinson
Quote:
Jackie Robinson wore the number 42 on his jersey. He was a highly skilled, hustling ballplayer, yet many called him vile names and didn’t think he belonged.
Sixty-six years later we have Barack Obama, the 44th President of the United States, who is an accomplished scholar, gifted politician and champion of the middle class. Unbelievably, he faces some of the same treatment that Robinson faced many decades ago.
The current name calling involves such terms as so************************t, communist, Muslim and non-citizen imposter, among others. These names are more contemporary than those used against Robinson, but no less offensive.
