Ray Rice fiasco
A man punches his woman and knocks her out. She revives, forgives him and
marries him.
Now for that action the powers that be, pressured by public noise makers, takes away his livelihood.
WTF the public wants more domestic violence.

That's one way of looking at it. Another is that the NFL had no policy against domestic violence and did what it could to cover up or minimize instances within its ranks, lest it impact its bottom line. The issue now is less Ray Rice than it is the NFL coverup.

Based on my morning radio listening (sports talk ), the issue is rapidly becoming domestic violence.
This will pass. Ravens won last night. NFL will end up with strong domestic violence penalties.

I suspect most people would rather he was castrated during the halftime show on the Jumbotron.

His woman? He was seen on security camera dragging her by her feet face down from the elevator. He got a two game suspension by the NFL. Whether she forgave and married him, an assault is an assault.
He has collected several millions as bonuses so his livelihood is not a concern here. His vicious behavior towards his fiance' is. He got a free pass till the video from inside the elevator became public.

She is an adult and has made a serious commitment by marrying him.
Why now take away his livelihood. Or are you hung up on his millions?

I am not hung up on his millions, but I am opposed to violence against women and children. Period. This guy should have been hauled in front of a judge for assault since the assault was on video. The casino and NFL looked the other way. Care to speculate why the video from inside the elevator was never looked into? Should charges not be brought against Ray Rice because the woman refused to press charges?
I hope you know that pro athletes in major sports usually have "behavior" clauses in their contract. Issue here is not that he is now phucked, that it took this long for the NFL to wise up.

Why do you care? He should be in jail. Or have you become one who jumps to defend the rich guy, regardless of what he has done? Has it occurred to you, that maybe this woman only puts up with his abuse because of the money?
Amazing, the crap that money justifies, isn't it?

Whether the guy has a cent or a billion I do not believe in taking away his
livelihood if his adult wife shows every indication that she wants to make a life with
him.
