I found some Conway Twitty cds today, plus Merle Haggard and a late Moody Blues cd called Stange Times. And a Allison Krauss cd.

At the Savers now there are some recent Denon receivers...one DRA-395, and 2 DRA-295s. If I did not have so many receivers I would get one. Plus I do not have too much money with gas going up. They do look nice and if working would be a score. They are going for $45-$50.

You have way better "Savers" in SanDiego than we have here in Chicago. I've been wandering aimlessly around our local Savers since it opened last year and never found anything even mildly interesting. And it's in an "upscale" enough part of town that I would think there would occasionally be something.

This store is in Murrieta, in Riverside County. Between LA and San Diego.
It beats the crap out of the SA and GW as far as quantity of general good items. Like I said before I have found a NAD and Snells there.

Have you ever been to Murrieta Hot Springs Robbin? It's a nice daytrip kind of thing, if you're into that.

I completed my Fleet Marine Force medical training there in 1988.
I was stationed there from 1994-2000...that is when I bought my house.

Just plain old Infantry Training Regiment for me back in '69. Anyway I suspect I didn't have near as much fun as Bob does at the Hot Springs, eh?

Everybody needs to wallow in a green mudbath once in their lives.

Closest we have hereabouts are the clay pits at the Warren Dunes over in SW Michigan. You follow this little creek back from the beach about a mile and it's these gray clay deposits. And all day long you see the "clay people" coming out of the woods and rinsing off in Lake Michigan. It's a hike but the womenfolk say it's a great astringent and softens the skin.
