Spare me your faux outrage. Your party and your President have advocated for "Second Amendment solutions" as well as ensuring unimpeded access of the mentally ill or those on terrorist watch lists to firearms. It appears as though the shooter was indeed someone who took the idea of Second Amendment solutions seriously.

The man suspected of firing dozens of rounds into an Alexandria baseball field Wednesday morning has been identified by federal law enforcement officials as James T. Hodgkinson, 66, of Belleville, Ill.

A Facebook page belonging to a person with the same name includes pictures of the Democratic presidential candidate, Bernie Sanders, and rhetoric against President Trump, including a post that reads: “Trump is a Traitor. Trump Has Destroyed Our Democracy. It’s Time to Destroy Trump & Co.”

Your President, his surrogates, his party and his captive news organizations (Fox News, Breitbart, InfoWars, NewsMax) have fostered a climate of fear and outrage, unlimited access to guns (including to the mentally ill and suspected terrorists), and Second Amendment solutions to political disagreements and are now outraged at the results of said policies??? Get a life and look up the word rational. And while you are at it consider the fact that Scalise qualified for a security detail that ordinary citizens do not get. Saved his life but I am sure he will find someone to blame other than the NRA.
