A look into the brief life of my son and his passion.
This is the GSX-R1000 that almost killed him in July of 2009 when someone turned in front of him. He was a Seabee and it caused his medical discharge from the Navy after 14 years of service. Needless to say this bike is history.
9 months after his accident, while still in physical therapy he decided to buy a new GSX-R1000. We have this one sold to his roommate in Phoenix.
After his discharge, the Navy sent him to Motorcycle Mechanics Institute in Phoenix for 2 years. Right before he started he bought the 2011 Hayabusa. This was his baby for a while. It is currently for sale, and I am hoping his brother-in-law buys it. It would be nice to see it stay in the family.
At some point he decided to take a bit more schooling and attend the Harley classes. I guess he decided he liked them because he bought the 2014 Road Glide. I think this one is going to stay in the family too, as I am pretty sure we are keeping it.
He graduated from MMI and we just went to his graduation last month. Leave it to my little practical joker to make me travel to Phoenix twice in one summer.

You were taken away too soon, but you enjoyed every moment you were here. Hopefully as much as we enjoyed having you.
