Putin wants rid of sanctions without giving anything up other than feeding Trump more opportunities to make money in Russia. It all fits, it is why Trump can't release his taxes, it would show the Russian income and the conflict of interest he denies.

I would add that Putin calling on Trump to even do what he did makes me think Vlad has some serious dirt on Agent Orange.

It hurt their feelings that Obama wouldn't have them over. And it's a 'win' if they get back in without making concessions on the things that bugged Obama.

I believe Vlad is smarter than that. He is not going to squeeze for White House photo ops. This is all Trump pissing on US media.
