It's gonna be cooler than here in Phoenix by 10* or more.
I've gotta go work on my project properties.
Need any cheap labor to clean your pad or anything? I might be able to help.

But then why NY?

I guess the abundance of gas stations in NY puts pressure on prices to rise?

I must have missed a class back in school because I though competition drove the prices down?

I would imagine that most of those stations are sitting on some pricey real estate. I expect that the wage costs are higher too. Also, prices are a function of supply AND demand. Although there might be a large supply in NY, isn't there also a tremendous demand?

Except in Oregon & New Jersey, where self-service is illegal, gasoline retailers don't really have any wage costs to speak of. Even the stations that have convenience stores attaches (or convenience stores with gas stations attached) frequently run with one employee per shift. Distribution costs for the wholesaler might be more significant.

$3.15/gallon this morning at 7-11.

105 degrees, 71% humidity and inundated with mosquitos here in the Swamp.

Needless to say, I haven't left the house since I got home from work this morning.
One of my buds said it reached 115 degrees in the plant today.

Stay hydrated, man.. I remember that weather although it wasn't quite that warm when I lived in the D.C. area, 30 plus years ago. Needless to say it's been only in the mid 80s around here. I'll leave it at that.
