Jon Huntsman endorses the idea of a third party ...

... even though he formally endorsed Romney in the primaries.

http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics...a-third-party/

I liked him the best of the GOP bunch and would have voted for him if he had won the GOP nomination, but he wasn't willing to throw all the red meat that the GOP base seems to demand.

I liked the guy but still would of voted for Obama. You are right he was the only adult in the bunch from the GOP this time.

I'm with Barney on this one, Huntsman may be a gentleman but the rest of his party sucks.

So, because he couldn't earn the nomination, he wants to take his toys and go home?

You ought to be happy that Romney and Ron Paul have snuggled up together. I third party effort by Ron Paul would harm the GOP much more than one by Huntsman. I think a Huntsman third party candidacy would hurt Obama at least as much as Romney. Of course, nothing would help Obama more than a Santorum candidacy - except perhaps a Gingrich candidacy - or a 7% unemployment rate.

D-Ray

I kinda figured Huntsman wouldn't make it, he's not an asshole.

That's why he was effectively disqualified.
