Just checked out the filmography. Hell of a list, actually.

Turns out the film of his I've watched most recently is "Wit," in which Emma Thompson gets cancer. That's the plot--Emma's character, a lit professor of reputation, and 'wit,' gets cancer.

It's a much better movie than you probably think. Damn good, truthfully. 'Truthfully' is just the word, in fact.

"Who is afraid of Virginia Woolf" is the best goosebumps movie I have ever seen. "The Graduate" is a bit greasy but a nice document of the American moral of the sixties...
