why is anyone even surprised about this?

access to semi-automatic weapons
hatred of the United States government
mentally ill patients not being treated

same as it ever was

maybe Walmart will have to really re-stock on the ammo now since Obama might take their bullets away

Ah. That reminds me I have to go by the gun show tomorrow and sell some odds and ends of ammo. Sold the guns ages ago (including two junkers for $50.00 each at a gun "buy-back'), but the ammo was sort of forgotten. But prices are good these days.

Stop and think a moment, was what this kid was saying that much different from what you might hear these days at a political town hall meeting? Either the whole country is insane or what he said is about par for the course.

I could use a couple hundred CCI BR-2's and a lb. of IMR 4831.

"As described to AP, the note appeared to contain terms and references often found in messages from antigovernment fringe groups. One of the terms was “fiat currency,” AP said. The letters NWO also were used, in apparent reference to “New World Order,” a term used by groups claiming the existence of global conspiracies." WaPo

Sounds like some sort deranged dupe who listens to Alex Jones.

I'm thinking more like deer is what he's hunting.

You like those stick powders, Chas? I always found them to be a PITA. Preferred the ball powders.

I went through a mild gun nut phase in the 1990's and got up to 5 guns.

I'm down to two now, both revolvers.

I've never been much for autoloaders, although I've owned a couple of 1911's in the past. I don't see any reason for anyone other than Military and Law enforcement having access to assault rifles.
