I wondered that, but the sentences were too well formed. I could follow his thoughts. Doing so convinced me he is paranoid and a conspiracy freak. But I did follow what he was saying, which I never was able to do with our old pal.

I must be missing something, I don't see where Truth is THAT far out of line. At least, not to the point of receiving the personal insults laid on him.
I'll now take my place under the bridge.

Cone on Don, I didn't give you THAT hard of a way to go...did I?
If I did, I would like to take this opportunity to apologize.

No, you shouldn't apologize, I appreciated the heads up. That's why I tried to explain that simply quoting a blogger wasn't the way to make a gain any credibility. Then I used a more juvenile method to point out that trading insults wasn't productive.

D-Ray

Why thank you JJIII.
BTW, it's good to see that all of you Tennessee boys present here have survived the deluge.
As I live about 20 miles from the Missouri River, I remember the '94 flood. The best I remember, the only passage across the river from Kansas City to the Cape was I70, and the roadbed across the bottom was sandbagged to keep it from being washed out. When you drove across, the water was level with your windshield.
Absolutely devastated a lot of scenic little river towns that had survived for over a hundred years. I can appreciate what folks down there are going through.

As many times as I'm out of line, I figger an apology here and there doesn't hurt a thing.
Let's say that this apology covers the times that I HAVE been out of line with you...and I know I have. James Beam may have put me up to it, but the responsibility still falls on me.
Take care,
Chas

Thank goodness I'm over to the east of all the trouble, at the foot of the mountains. All the rain that falls here makes it's way west in kind of a hurry. As much of a hurry as TVA allows anyway. The folks around Nashville took a hell of a hit though. Grand Old Opry, Country Music Hall of Fame, and many other places suffered major problems. I hear that Gibson lost over 14,000 guitars!
