Creationism and Big Oil?
When watching the HBO documentary last night, Questioning Darwin about the Creationist movement. I started to think there has to be a connection to Big Oil. Somehow they benefit from keeping the sheep happy, I mean flock. http://www.hbo.com/#/documentaries/questioning-darwin

That these "True Believers" or "Faithful Followers" must believe in their heart that God will not allow the earth to suffer. So Global Warming has to be a myth made up by non believers. Really scary stuff from the looks of it. They figure science and sin go hand in hand. If the Bible said 2+2=5 then make it so!

Exactly how do the Creationists even reconcile oil being formed in the ground with their belief that life on Earth is 6,000 years old?

Do you know people who think oil is unlimited? Just curious. I have seen the argument that the earth was created as a whole.

My sister has told me the Earth produces the oil for us to use. My wife's sister and I don't talk about religion much anymore. Since her daughter my niece told my son he was going to hell because he is a Catholic. She has rolled her eyes before on Evolution and Darwin. Also how there is no Global warming. This winter weather proves it!

Considering that the Bible was written by men why do people not take it with a grain of salt? It would seem tha allegory is a foreign word to the creationists.

And to say Man is made in Gods image implies God was so imperfect he couldn't' have possibly have created the universe.
