Trey Gowdy, Chairman (SC-04)
He earned a B.A. in history from Baylor University in 1986. He was a member of Kappa Omega Tau, a service/social Fraternity while at Baylor University. He earned a J.D. degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 1989. In law school, he was a member of the scholastic honor society "Wig and Robe."
Susan Brooks (IN-05)
She earned a B.A. from Miami University, where she was a part of the sorority Alpha Omicron Pi, and a J.D. from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law.
Jim Jordan (OH-04)
He graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 1986, obtaining his bachelor's degree in economics. He later earned a master's degree in education from the Ohio State University in Columbus, and in 2001 obtained his law degree from Capital University, also in Columbus.
Mike Pompeo (KS-04)
Pompeo attended the U.S. Military Academy where he majored in Mechanical Engineering, graduating first in his class in 1986 and subsequently serving in the Regular Army as an Armor Branch cavalry officer from 1986 to 1991.[3] He subsequently graduated from Harvard Law School, where he was an editor of the Harvard Law Review.
Martha Roby (AL-02)
...attended New York University, where she received a bachelor of music degree. She then entered the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, receiving her J.D. in 2001.
Peter Roskam (IL-06)
Roskam received his B.A. in political science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and his J.D. from the Chicago-Kent College of Law.
Lynn Westmoreland (GA-03)
He has no degree beyond a high school diploma. He attended Georgia State University, but dropped out to work in a family construction business in which he later became an executive.

I've watched most of this farce all day today and these aforementioned Republicans should be made to wear kangaroo costumes for the remainder of their careers in public life.

Elijah Cummings was easily the most convincing person on the dais. His performance will serve him well running for Barbara Mikulski's seat. Both are tough customers.

This bullcrap has gone on long enough. I'd like to see the complete Democratic delegation stand up and walk out. Mr. Smith nails it, this has degenerated into vicious badgering.

1) As the House Republican Majority leader Kevin McCarthy stated, it's all about damaging Clinton's poll numbers.
2) $4.7 million and counting.

Through this hearing, the GOP unwittingly did more to advance Hillary's Presidential ambitions than anything she could have done herself. She was very impressive and they looked like vindictive, clueless clowns (and this is coming from a guy who's not exactly a Hillary fanboy).

That's the rub. I've never really liked the woman but fair is fair.
What I saw yesterday was a sickening display of desperation on the part of GOP lawmakers. Grasping for any scrap of damaging minutiae they could and coming up with nothing but vapid conjecture, time and again. Like stupid Baboons attacking a granite statue until their teeth and claws fall out, because they are too dumb and obsessed to realize it's a lost cause. And they will only further damage themselves if they don't stop.

They will not stop or cannot seem to have failed in their quest. The show must go on and will go on. Or Paul Ryan when he ascends to Speakership, can as a conciliatory gesture, end this farce. Will he or can he?
