Is he competent?

I have never been a big Obama fan, but thought that maybe he would at least try to do his best. Now with Fast and Furious, Benghazi, the IRS, the AP scandals I suppose for lack of a better term, is Obama seeming a somewhat incompetent? His answer for all of them seems to be "I didn't know". How can the person with access to more intelligence than any other man in the world not have a clue? If he really didn't know, then I find that a serious competency issue. Aren't the chief executives ultimately to be responsible for subordinates?
Just curious about peoples thoughts here.

Seems so to me. That said, every election is the lesser of two evils and he was less evil than McCain/Palin or Romney/Ryan in the eyes of the majority of the electorate. Despite the happenings of the past week, they were probably right.

Clueless is what comes to mind first. And that definitely makes him incompetent.

Did we have any other forgetful Presidents? Maybe even one that had enough senility that he should not have been in office towards the end?

Do you think it's a reasonable possibility that the eyes of the electorate were fitted with blinders by a deceptive administration and complicit media? That's kinda what this is all about.

How can anyone in their right mind even consider this argument? Really how soon we forget about the years 2001-2009?

That is my first thought reading this Barney. If Obama has a competency issue what would you call Bush Jr?

This isn't about why he got elected, and he may have been a better choice than Romney, but have a little accountability. Every president has made mistakes, but this constant denial of knowing anything is getting to be a bit much for me to swallow. I will say that pissing off the AP isn't the smartest thing for a liberal administration to do.

So that would be a "no"?
