I've had my car broken into twice. The last time the idiots busted out the window.

The cop said "what the fuck to you expect us to do about it?". This after interrogating my wife about her height, weight, salary, where she worked and all manner of personal question because it was her car. Fucking assholes.


Now if I'm a victim of a crime I just suck it up instead of being victimized by the police too.

If what you say is true (hardly a guarantee), a person doing their job was attacked by an entitled youth who believes the law doesn't apply to him: likely enraged by a lineage of generational guilt, trauma and anger dating to decades before he was born.

That's not the fault of the law or anyone empowered to enforce it.
