Not to speak of the other presumptions made a few posts back in this thread.
1. Eyewitness testimony is notoriously unreliable.
2. The further you are away (time and distance), the worse it gets.
I do wonder if anyone here has ever been attacked, before? I have. Nothing is static, extrapolation via body language doesn't work.
To wit? I regret that the attached photo is, quite literally, of a monster. There is no correlation intended, this is merely the first photo I could locate which supports my point:
even if the eyewitness is correct and the suspect had his hands in the air, that does NOT guarantee surrender or any reduction in threat capacity, especially if the VERY LARGE Brown is advancing on Wilson.
All of Brown's wounds are from the front and he cannot be convincingly portrayed as no longer being a threat to Wilson or the community at large until subdued.
I don't see the issue beyond -- admittedly -- the entire business being unsavory.
That's the job.
